Every strip club in Pitt County is being forced to close! This is something we have been praying for since The Gathering began. Praise God! You can read the full article on the Daily Reflector web site. Let us keep praying that these types of places will stay closed and that God will bring the owners and workers to salvation.

The next Gathering meeting will be the third Monday in January at 7:30 at Hope of Glory Ministries.

Edit: We just wanted to say that while we have been praying for God to shutdown and redeem certain types of businesses in the area (and more importantly save the workers), we take no stance regarding the politics (laws, ordinances, politicians) involved in the closings of the strip clubs. We believe God will work through everything in order to answer our prayers and accomplish His will, and that these closings are simply a sign of fruit of our intercession. Praise the Lord!

This was the front page of the local Greenville paper two days after we had a night of prayer for the city on October 31st.

We are only seeing glimpses of all that God is going to do.

Please join us in fasting and prayer for Greenville the third Monday each month. We meet at Hope of Glory Ministries in Winterville, NC at 7:30 to worship, pray and intercede together. This atmoshpere of this city will be changed.

Well, We met last night and it was great. More than that. When God shows up there are no words to describe what it is like. Thank all of you that came out and participated. Thank all of you that came out and helped pray and lead worship. God is amazing. Last night was just a wonderful time of worship and intercession. I know that our prayers reached the throne of God. I know that the Holy Spirit was in our midst. That He was rushing in and out of us like tidal waves. We had planned on last night being a strong night of spiritual warfare, which I believe wholeheartedly that it was. But I think the theme that ended up running through everyone last night was repentance. For us, for the church body, for the government, for the schools, for the city, for the nation, and even for Israel. It was incredible. I believe and am waiting to see the effects of our prayers last night in the natural as well as the spiritual realm. So everyone look out. God is stirring stuff up. And I am not sure quite what yet.

Our next meeting will be Nov. 21

The next Battle Lines meeting will be the end of Jan. or the beginning of Feb. We'll keep you posted....
